Founded by a gaggle of young, independent comics in 2011, MCF has grown exponentially each year after.

Memphis Comedy Festival

BEHIND THE CURTAINS

The folks who run the Memphis Comedy Festival are made up more than our local comics, but also a handful of non-comic Memphians with a passion for the festival. The board comes together throughout the year to organize ongoing shows and potential possibilities for the next year's debauchery! Other than our amazing MCF Board, we are a volunteer run group, and without them the show wouldn't not be able to go on. If you are interested in volunteering for any events throughout the year or our upcoming festival check out our volunteer page here!

OUR MISSION

We will advance comedy in the Memphis area by nurturing creators and performers of comedy, curating talent from in and outside the city, developing alliances with venues, and producing events to increase the awareness of Memphis comedy, culminating with the annual Memphis Comedy Festival.
